Zero Knowledge Proofs are one of the path breaking inventions in the last 30 years of computer science. Quantum Computing has been the bravest of the engineering efforts to build energy efficient and future forward computing infrastructure. Quantum Computing posits a lot of challenges to the classical computation based deterministic logic. In this context post quantum cryptography becomes an interesting value proposition to protect the current information technology infrastructure in the transition to the quantum computing world.
I have delivered a session on ‘Quantum Knowledge Proofs and Post QuantumCryptography’ in the Quantum Computing Knowledge Workshop organised by West Bengal State Government Information Technology Department in Kolkata. It was an amazing experience in an inspiring atmosphere conversing with entrepreneurs, academic experts and industry thought leaders about Quantum Computing Hardware, Quantum Computing SDKs, Quantum Key Distribution, Quantum Cryptography, QuantumBlockchain, Zero Knowledge Proofs etc.
19th National Seminar from Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology – SCIT titled IoT and Big Data : Leverage or Adversary to Data Analytics was indeed a life time experience and a cherishing experience for me. It is a rare opportunity to meet MBA students presenting enterprising ideas about Decentralised Agriculture Marketplaces and sharing thoughts about Universal Basic Income and clarifying concepts about Quantum Computing and Algorithmic Business Models.
Moderating an eminent panel of Industry thought leaders with academic erudition and implementation insights from world class organisations was a challenging task and a learning experience. Sourabh Mukharjee from Accenture, Dr. Sheela Siddappa from Bosh, Dr. Pradeep Bilurkar from Barclays, Kapil Gandhi from Ernst and Young were our fellow panelist. The event started with an inspiring inagural address from the director of #SCIT, Dr. Dhanya Pramod. It was followed by an illuminating and thought provoking keynote address by the Chief Strategy Officer of Fractal Analytics, Sameer Dhanrajani.
In the panel discussion we covered a wide spectrum of topics ranging from evolution of IoT and Big Data, Cloud based Data Integration approaches for IoT, IoT Analytics applications, Industry solutions and emerging use cases, emerging challenges around IoT Big Data landscape, need for standardisation, need for ontologies around IoT Data Sets, career opportunities in IoT Big Data Analytics area etc. Altogether it was a dream journey to an inspiring academic institution. I wish all the very best for this institution and its committed faculty members and passionate students !
I am deeply honored and excited to know that some of our efforts at converging AI, Analytics, Blockchain, Big Data, IoT, Quantum Computing are getting recognized across global thought leadership forums. IoT World Congress has shared my views on the Digital Convergence in the recent article they have published in the forum.
What will happen when these three technologies act jointly and coordinate in the same environment? For experts in data science and cognitive computing such as Gokul Alex, AI will constitute the brain which will make the decisions set to manage the industrial production of the future, IoT will act as the backbone of the connected society and blockchain will establish an impregnable data exchange chain between them.
Alex points out that the convergence of these three great technologies means blockchain will manage the extraordinary potential of AI. “IoT will help to transform the potential of blockchain into effective connectivity networks, while the concurrence of AI, IoT and blockchain will encourage the creation of synergies in the working environments of digital economies, converting the fourth industrial revolution into a reality. Robotics will also play a leading role in this confluence, once AI has transformed its operations into more fluid and transparent processes for both humans and machines.”
I am quite creatively curious about the innovation master classes program organised by #HUBSTREET a group of talented youngsters in Kerala. Perhaps it is the first innovation community fully organised by young children. Looking forward to converse with them on the basic purposes and concepts of innovation.

TKM Institute of Management has organized a national conference on Innovation focusing on the impact of applied innovation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Management. It was a great opportunity to connect with innovative entrepreneurs and academicians and a lot of passionate and creative students from colleges across Kerala.
I focused on the much needed convergence of innovative practices in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Management (STEAM) to build minimum viable concepts, minimum viable prototypes, minimum viable designs, minimum viable products and minimum viable commerce at scale. The concept of STEAM resonates we’ll with the concepts of lean methodology and innovation sprints.
We had an enlightened panel discussion after the Key Note sessions. Our panel comprised of Dr.Vinithkumar Nair, Professor from TKM Institute of Management, Nishant Nambiar, CEO of Inforich Technologies, Dr. Arun Surendran, Strategic Director, Trinity College of Engineering and Geethu Sivakumar, CEO of PACE HighTech.
I could meet the leadership of the pioneering education consulting firm AAMC from Australia soon after this conference.
