A Developer Weekend Session on Smart Contract Patterns and Blockchain Security Techniques

It gives immense confidence, optimism and faith in our future generation and the possibilities and potentials of social entrepreneurship and social innovation in India when we get an opportunity to meet a knowledge collective of students who travelled more than 1000 kilometres from rural villages and emerging urban townships across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, only to learn the fundamentals and applications of #BlockchainTechnology.

These young talents have immersed themselves in the finer nuances of Blockchain Technology and Decentralised business models to come up with a set of six product pitches and solution architectures working with mentors and experts from various Blockchain StartUps from across south India.

Designing an Open Innovation Ecosystem through Lean, Agile, Exponential Methods

A sustainable innovation ecosystem emerges from the passionate and persistent efforts of a lean and agile team evolving through a perseverant and progressive environment. It is how we sum up the experience in designing, building, operating an innovation lab in an evolving and enchanting city of Thiruvananthapuram. This video is a reflection and recollection of this journey from a humble beginning within a corporate innovation lab facility to a transformational open innovation ecosystem that could partner with global research hubs such as MIT, Stanford University, TU Delft, Russian Quantum Centre, CSIR etc. This Digital Innovation Lab could also become the epic centre of research scholars and thought leaders from across India from academic institutions such as KTU, VIT, CUSAT, BITS Pilani etc. We could create a transformational impact on the innovation ecosystem in Kerala through this digital technology hub as we pivoted ourselves to the lean startup culture and agile program management methods. Digital Mastery for the future generation of Managers : Key take aways from the SCIT Education Model

I had a chance of moderating the national seminar organised by Symbiosis Centre for Information Technologies ( SCIT ). The seminar was titled ‘Amalgamating IOT and Big Data’ – Boon or Bane for Data Analytics. It was an amazing experience to see the curiosity among the management graduate students on finer aspects of technology ethics, technical architecture, business models, social aspects etc. I could see that SCIT is actively inspiring their students to explore the consultative aspects of Digital Technology in depth. While interacting with the aspiring entrepreneurs of SCIT I could understand that this institution is carving out a new generation of managers who does not loose their passion for technology in their pursuit for business acumen.

This is definitely a recommended pedagogic model for management education in the coming days. I have shared my perspectives on the management education and the SCIT experience in the following video. Looking forward to your views and comments.

Quantum Computing Architectures : A quick reference compilation for software engineers

When we enter the realm of quantum computing from the theoretical foundations, we encounter the enchanting world of complex algebra and quantum physics. The symbols and notions may look quite bewildering for a software engineer. I have encountered this during my numerous sessions on Quantum Computing for Software Engineers and Enterprise Architects. Based on this experience, I have put together a collection of essential building blocks of a Quantum Computer from a few useful architectural diagrams. Most of these diagrams are quite accessible and available for everyone in the internet. I have organised them in a logical and structured manner. These diagrams provide a layer wise and component based view of Quantum Computing Architectures. This is presented recently in the Women Who Code #WWC #Bangalore Chapter MeetUp held in VMWare on November 2018 for an engaging and interactive audience.
